Kimjang Festival 2024

The Korean British Cultural Exchange (KBCE) is excited to bring you the Kimjang Festival 2024 on Saturday, 2nd November, at Chessington Community College.

Kimjang is the age-old Korean tradition of preparing and sharing kimchi together before winter, a community-driven practice deeply rooted in Korean culture. It emphasizes togetherness, as friends and families gather to make enough kimchi to last through the colder months, a tradition recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
